On June 18, the 2026 Sino‑French Forum on Future Industry Cooperation kicked off at the Jinling Hotel in Nanjing. Co‑hosted by the International Economic and Technical Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and the Nanjing Investment Promotion Bureau, the forum was themed “Envisioning a New Landscape for Future Industries, Co‑building a New Ecosystem for Future Industries.” The event brought together over 150 representatives from Chinese and French government agencies, the French Future Industry Alliance, leading enterprises, and research institutes. Notable attendees delivering opening remarks included Mao Junfeng, Deputy Director‑General of the High‑Tech Department of MIIT; Xu Feng, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Nanjing Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor of Nanjing; and a representative of the Consulate General of France in Shanghai.

Now in its third edition, the Sino‑French Forum on Future Industry Cooperation has been held in Nanjing for the second consecutive year, and has become a key mechanism for deepening bilateral industrial innovation between China and France. This year’s edition drove deep‑dive exchanges across future‑oriented sectors such as aerospace, biomedicine, artificial intelligence, new energy, and advanced materials. To further facilitate bilateral corporate partnerships, the Nanjing municipal government reaffirmed its commitment to optimizing the local business environment by providing dedicated task forces and full‑lifecycle support services for cooperation between enterprises of the two countries.
Engaging in Industrial Dialogue: Charting the Path for Tech Landing and Commercialization
A major highlight of the forum was the morning panel discussion, “Sino-French Enterprises Jointly Forge New Tracks for Future Industry Cooperation.” Zhe Jiang, President of NXpark and CEO of Aden Energies, joined industry peers representing four pioneering Chinese and French firms across smart equipment, biopharmaceuticals, industrial IT, and AI. The panel tackled critical themes, including breaking down barriers in smart manufacturing collaboration, capturing scenario-based opportunities in biomedicine, balancing trust and interests in data circulation, and establishing actionable frameworks for joint Sino-French AI standard-setting.

The dialogue culminated in a powerful consensus: real-world scenarios are the ultimate proving ground for technology. Moving cutting-edge concepts into large-scale, commercial application requires essential enablers—namely, robust industrial infrastructure, friction-free collaboration, and precise supply-demand matching.
This exact insight lies at the heart of NXpark’s long-term strategic vision.
Building a “Landing Platform”: NXpark’s Strategic Role in Sino-French Cooperation
Between “viable” technology and “scalable” market application, the missing link is rarely the technology itself—it is the operational platform capable of hosting, validating, and sustaining it. This is where NXpark delivers its core value.
NXpark specializes in investing, developing, and operating zero-carbon, highly digitized industrial parks. By leveraging its advanced digital twin platform and data-driven operations, NXpark provides comprehensive, full-lifecycle infrastructure solutions tailored for advanced manufacturing and future industries.
This blueprint has already proven highly successful in practice. A prime example is the Sino-French (Wuxi) Industrial Cooperation Park—a pilot zone guided jointly by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the French Consulate General, and officially certified by the China-France Chamber of Commerce as China’s first “Sino-French Cooperation Demonstration Zone.” Invested and developed by NXpark, the park’s entire lifecycle—from design and construction to daily operations—is managed through a unified digital architecture. At its core is the Schneider Electric Green & Smart Industrial Park, a USD 150 million investment destined to become a next-generation “super factory” integrating R&D, production, and global sales.

Future-Focused & Scenario-Driven: Unlocking New Dimensions of Win-Win Cooperation
The complementary strengths of the Chinese and French markets are creating rapid synergy across smart manufacturing, green energy, biomedicine, and digital technology. While France brings world-class fundamental research and systems integration to the table, China offers unparalleled application scenarios and rapid industrial iteration. As the industrial infrastructure arm of Aden Group, NXpark acts as a catalyst for green manufacturing, leveraging smart, zero-carbon parks to foster a sustainable future industrial ecosystem.
Furthermore, NXpark continues to build a robust two-way investment bridge: empowering Chinese enterprises to expand globally while seamlessly helping foreign multinationals enter and thrive in the Chinese market. By providing turnkey, future-proof physical spaces for technological innovation and world-class operating environments, NXpark provides the high-efficiency, sustainable infrastructure needed to anchor Sino-French industrial cooperation.
As Zhe Jiang noted during the panel discussion: “Nurturing the industries of tomorrow is a marathon, not a sprint—it requires deep patience and long-term commitment.” By engineering smart, sustainable, and zero-carbon industrial parks, NXpark is laying the groundwork for this exact long-term vision. This forum once again underscores NXpark’s unique value as a vital bridge and foundational platform within the Sino-French industrial ecosystem.
