Wuxi Municipal Leadership Tours NXpark’s Green Smart Industrial Park Built for Schneider Electric

Aug 12, 2026

Wuxi, August 6 — A high-level municipal delegation led by Du Xiaogang, Party Secretary of Wuxi, and Mayor Jiang Feng, accompanied by key officials from various districts, municipal departments, and state-owned enterprises, conducted a field visit to major project sites across the city to assess construction progress. They inspected the green and smart industrial park custom-built by NXpark for Schneider Electric. Zhe Jiang, President of NXpark and CEO of Aden Energies, accompanied the officials, providing on-site briefings on the park’s development, digital management, and progress regarding asset securitization.

The Schneider Electric Green and Smart Industrial Park is located in the core area of Sino-French (Wuxi) Industrial Cooperation Park. Guided jointly by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the French Consulate General, and officially certified by the China-France Chamber of Commerce as China’s first “Sino-French Cooperation Demonstration Zone”, the park is fully invested in, developed, and operated by NXpark, employing a fully digitalized management process throughout its entire lifecycle, from design and construction to operations.

The Schneider Electric project involves a total investment of USD 150 million (approx. RMB 758 million) and a gross floor area of 68,000 square meters, integrating R&D, production, and logistics support. Once fully operational, it is designed to yield an annual output of 2.6 million digital energy products, 520,000 building automation units, and 13.9 million printed circuit boards. It stands as Schneider Electric’s sole electronics manufacturing hub in China and its fifth-largest global R&D center.

In terms of park operations, the project leverages the Akila digital twin smart control platform to achieve centralized management of energy, assets, and carbon data, which is utilized for predictive equipment maintenance and energy consumption optimization. Designated as Wuxi’s flagship Physical AI and robotics innovation platform, the park is developing an end-to-end intelligent operations system. Powered by Akila’s “digital brain” and integrated with industrial robotic systems, the platform enables a wide range of applications, including predictive fault diagnostics, intelligent inspection, automated security monitoring, and unmanned cleaning. Together, these capabilities establish a unified “Perceive–Understand–Act” Physical AI framework for next-generation smart industrial parks. Designed for flexibility and scalability, this intelligent solution seamlessly integrates with manufacturing production lines and adapts to diverse industrial scenarios, ranging from 3C electronics to new energy equipment manufacturing. It provides a replicable model for accelerating smart manufacturing transformation across Wuxi and beyond.

Situated in the Xinwu District of the Wuxi High-Tech Zone, the park is surrounded by a cluster of European and American industrial enterprises, featuring a mature supporting ecosystem in new energy, automotive components, and precision electronics. The park is concurrently participating in the city’s strategic layout for physical AI and robotics, having already established synergistic connections with local industrial projects.

NXpark’s service offerings include custom-built factory and R&D spaces, on-site distributed green power supply, and one-stop operational management. The next phase will focus on enhancing the supply of high-standard industrial facilities and expanding the application of AI-driven smart operations across more scenarios, including intelligent inspections, automated security, and unmanned cleaning.

Following this inspection, the park will continue to leverage the Sino-French cooperation platform, aligning with the manufacturing upgrade demands of the Wuxi High-Tech Zone to advance subsequent facility expansion and investment attraction initiatives.
